The Success with Phonics: Alphabet Cards and Teaching Guide were designed to build young children’s alphabet recognition skills. There are 26 color cards in the set. Each card focuses on a letter of the alphabet with a main picture and picture name that should be used to introduce the letter sound. The card also has the letter in its upper- and lower-case forms, information about the letter and the sound each represents. There is also a list with the words with the target sound.
The Teacher’s Guide is designed to support phonics instruction using the cards. The guide also contains background information on the alphabet sounds, and methodologies and strategies to support phonics instruction.

The Success with Phonics: Alphabet Cards were designed to be printed front to back (duplex) on legal sized card stock paper (8.5” X 14”) using portrait orientation. There are lines indicating where you should cut the paper so that you can get two cards per paper.
